You don’t take a photograph, you make it

On 31st March to 6th April 2014, Robinvale hosted the CMCA 28th Anniversary Rally. Ray Jones from the Euston Club was the Rally Manager and Eleanor Scully was Rally Secretary.
Generating upwards of $2 million for the region, 850 RVs were registered and their 1700 occupants arrived from all over Australia. An advance group of more than 260 volunteers took a week to set up the rally site on the banks of the Murray River at Robinvale.
The volunteers ran and organised numerous components of the rally including maintenance, siting, catering, administration, entertainment and and more. Many of these traders took the opportunity to also present at one of the 60 seminar sessions conducted in three locations throughout the site. There was also craft, Ladies and Men’s Sheds, cooking classes by the gourmet chef, dancing classes, disc bowls, regional tours and much more.
Congratulations to all that supported this wonderful event and to the incredibly tireless work of all involved to ensure it was a complete success. This book aims to be a pictorial journey of the week’s wonderful events, experiences, memories and includes many of the people that made it a success.
